Gloss blued finish on the engraved receiver, barrel, and bottom metal accentuates the stock and raises the bar of elegance. The spiral fluted bolt reduces weight and adds visual interest. Focusing on performance, X-Bolt 2 Hunter is an ideal blend of tradition and design that will satisfy the needs of shooters. It features sporter contour barrel that keeps the rifle light, maneuverable, and easy to carry. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy. The action has been redesigned with additional bolt guidance surface for smoother cycling. The bolt has also been reworked and is fitted with a new bolt knob. The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds. (Adjustable down to 3.0 pounds.)
