The Colt CR6960 is Colts response to the request to utilize a Mid-length direct gas impingement system. Colt has exceeded expectations providing you with the ultimate soft shooting system. This rifle begins as a pair of forged Colt receivers with a hard coat anodized finish. Next a 16″ medium taper profile was used to help achieve a lower overall weight profile without sacrificing accuracy. Additionally it’s worth noting that Colt teamed up with Centurion Arms for an exclusive M-LOK free float hand guard. This hand guard is a touch heavier than others you may be familiar with but it’s the same great quality rail you have come to expect. The remaining furniture including the pistol grip, stock, buffer tube, flash hider and fire control group are all standard mil-spec components.
