When that happens, the firearm is sent back to Glock, where worn parts are replaced, the metal is refinished, and the firearm is labeled as a “rebuilt.” With the G17 Gen5 MOS, GLOCK enhances the already near-perfect Gen5 model, which is known as “The original,” by adding the Modular Optic System (MOS). The slide is precisely machined to include a mounting system for popular optic sights.
