Description

The advanced SureFire PROCOMP-762-5/8-24 muzzle brake, designed for AR10/LR308 rifles and similar models with 5/8X24 muzzle threads, significantly reduces recoil and features neutral porting, which helps distribute brake loads evenly across bipod legs to keep you on target for faster shot recovery. Its patented Impulse Diffusion design minimizes side blast and rear concussion effects. The PROCOMP-762-5/8-24 copies the design of the SureFire SOCOM SFMB-762/.308 muzzle brake, but unlike the latter, it cannot be used to mount SureFire SOCOM suppressors. Made from US mill-certified steel bar stock and precision-machined, including high-precision cut threads for a perfect fit, it has a black Melonite finish that offers maximum protection in harsh environments. The muzzle brake features blind pilot holes at the 3 and 9 O’clock positions to fine-tune recoil for different shooting styles or ammunition, as well as holes at the 6 O’clock position for indexing the adapter at bottom dead center, and for pinning and welding on short-barreled rifles. Installation requires only a basic hand drill and appropriate drill bits.
